This project was the result of a student 3rd year final project for our clients THQ and BlueTongue.
The assignment was to create a Nintendo Wii demo with a multiplayer mode.
After the brainstorming period, we came up with a concept which involves using the motion sensor of the Wii to control a spaceship's catapult, which you could use to grab objects out of space and sling at your opponents.
The game combines motion control with gravity in a very addictive way.
Our clients were very pleased with the result, and suggested to submit the game to the independant gamedesign competition held at GDC. Unfortunately one of us had to attent the event in order to submit the game, which was impossible for us at the time.
Leveldesigner and assistant gamedesigner.
Created several levels from scratch, was involved in all brainstorming sessions, and helped the lead gamedesigner with several tasks including writing the gamedesign document and tweaking/balancing the gameplay .
